The Macallen Building is Boston’s first green residential building aiming for LEED certification. Its mix of lofts, studio units, one- to three-bedroom units, duplexes and triplexes have all sorts of carbon-reducing features such as energy star rated appliances, recycled carpets, and insulated windows and exterior walls.
